Software Engineer

Qualifications:

Degree in Software Engineering plus industry experience. Should be proficient in C.

Experience Required:
10 years of experience in development of software / firmware for Embedded controllers.
Coding and testing STM32 or similar ARM Cortex-M4 MCU.
Software Engineering practices in structuring, archiving, maintaining, revising code.
Familiar with standards for Software Evaluation to UL 1998.
Experience with standards for Automatic Electrical Controls as UL 60730,IEC 61508 or related experience with built-in-self-test and design for safety.
Experience building or maintaining products to Class C requirements.
Regression testing of software and integrated product.
An Integrated Development Environment (IDE) toolset.
Office tools for documentation of tools, processes, and adherence to safety and quality requirements, in addition to documentation of code itself.

Additional skills:

We need someone with experience of developing a product conforming to IEC 61508, IEC 61511 & UL 60730 standard. This does not necessarily have to be a flame detector.
