CFB Burner

Warm-up burners used in Circulating Fluidized Bed boilers are located on the front wall, side walls or both depending on the amount of heat input required. The burner must be designed to withstand the harsh atmosphere of the CFB boiler from a mechanical perspective and the dynamics of the bed material from a performance perspective.

The Forney CFB Burner is specifically designed with the above conditions in mind.  The burner is primarily used for warm-up and combustion stabilization in a Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler. Key design components of this burner is the adjustable flame shaping characteristics, which will provide maximum bed material heating while remaining below the bed agglomeration temperature.
