What is Covered by this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to users of our Services which includes any person who uses our Services. Users may be referred to in this Policy as “user,” “you” or “your.”

Purposes of Processing
Forney processes personal information to: (i) execute transactions that you request, (ii) when you provide your explicit consent, (iii) for our legitimate business interests such as maintaining our books and records, securing and protecting the integrity of this Site, and for Service and product development; and (iv) as permitted to meet by applicable legal requirements. 

Personal Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
As a general matter, we limit the amount of personal information we collect to the minimum necessary to provide the information, products and services that you request or otherwise respond to the specific reason that you contacted us.

We primarily collect and have access to personal information that you voluntarily provide to us via email or other direct contact with you.  We will do not provide this information to any third party other than those that we engage to ship orders or support our delivery of Services. Use of Cookies
We use “cookies” on this Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a Site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our Site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our Site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Site as well as track the dates and times the Site is accessed; the webpages accessed and length of the time spent on webpages. Forney does not use automatic decision-making or engage in profiling.

Log Files
We automatically gather some information about visitors, including IP addresses, browser type, language, and the times and dates of webpage visits.  The data collected does not include personal information and is used for statistical analysis, to understand user behavior, and to administer the Site. 

Children under the Age of 16
Our products and services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 16. If a child is accessing services without your consent, please contact us by using the information provided in the Contact Information section of this Privacy Policy so that we can remove any personal information provided.

Your California Privacy Rights
While individuals who reside in California and have provided their personal information to Forney may request information about our disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, note that we do not provide personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

While we take various steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of your personal information, we rely upon you to provide accurate and complete Information when interacting with us.

Rights in Connection with Your Personal Information
Under certain circumstances, and as required by applicable law you have the right to:

  • Request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate personal information that we hold about you.

This 30-day period may be extended for another 2 months for complex requests with notification of the reasons for the extension to you.

However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances. In addition, there may be requests that we are unable to process because of other European Union (EU) legal requirements.  If a request is denied, we will notify you of the reason.

 We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

If you are located in the EU, you have the right to lodge a complaint with an EU Supervisory Authority. However, if you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal information we request that you first contact us and we will reply on a timely basis.

Your personal information is stored on our servers and on the servers of database management service providers that we have engaged which are located in the United States.  We retain data for the duration of the relationship you have with us or longer if permitted by law.

Please be aware that the personal information we collect may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction, where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your location. If you are located outside of the United States, please be advised that we process and store personal data in the United States.
